On Going Opportunities
We have ongoing opportunities here at Building Families Together. First, we like our Directors to know, this is a “Governing and Working Board.” In addition, we offer our Directors the opportunity to work closely with the CEO. We are here to help you grow professionally and assist you in any way.
In addition, we will provide you the opportunity to make new friends, increase social contact, enhance your resume. The CEO also personally writes all letters of recommendation. In addition, your picture, name, and brief write up goes here on the website.
We are seeking individuals who are self-motivated, ready to be active advocates, and ambassadors for our families and Building Families Together Inc. These individuals will be fully engaged in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for Building Families Together Inc. to advance its mission, vision and values. The Directors may also provide assistance and have direct contact with the families we serve.

The Secretary is responsible for ensuring that accurate and sufficient documentation exists to meet legal requirements, and to enable authorized persons to determine when, how, and by whom Building Families Together’s board business was conducted. The ideal but not necessary Board Secretary should have prior nonprofit board member experience or have received formal board training.
Directors are required to perform their duties in good faith, with ordinary care, and in the best interest of Building Families Together.
